Eye Contact With Children Increases Trust?

Could eye contact with children help them to trust you more? Research has proven it just might, at least for characters on cereal boxes anyway. So could these findings translate over to children’s ministry? Could children be more trusting of you and your volunteers if you intentionally made eye contact when speaking with them? The research sounds promising, but what’s your opinion?
